Char Broil Grill Parts

There are many grill manufacturers, but only a handful are leaders in the industry and known well. One such manufacturer is Char Broil. If you have bought one of these grills, you may find that you need to replace a broken part. In order to figure out which part you might need, you should learn about some of the different Char Broil grill parts and how to troubleshoot your problems.

A Char Broil grill has parts like comparable grills from other manufacturers. If your grill is having problems, there are many issues that can be fixed. You will need to determine what is wrong before you start taking things apart. Using your owner’s manual as a guide, you can troubleshoot your grill’s malfunction.

Heat plates fall apart quick and when they do, your heat is not distributed evenly and you can have food that does not cook well on one side of the grill and burns on the other. Heat plates are exposed to the heat from the burners and the drippings that fall from food. This makes your heat plate more susceptible to rust. Heat plates are simple to replace.

The burner carry over tube may also need to be replaced. This tube is responsible for carrying the ignition and flame from one burner to the next one. If you only have one side lighting, a faulty burner carry over tube may be the problem.

If your grill is not lighting at all, there could be a few Char Broil grill parts to blame. First, turn on your gas tank and turn one of your knobs into the ignition position. Listen for the hissing sound of the gas. If you do not hear the gas, turn everything back off and start removing the hose to replace it. Also, remove the regulator, valves, and burners. You may want to go ahead and replace these parts, especially the burners of they are particularly damaged.

If you heard the gas hissing, the problem is likely in the valves that join the burners and the control knobs, or the ignition system. Your grill may not be getting the gas from the valves or the ignition may not be sparking to light the grill. Replace the valves and the ignition. Refer to the manual for proper installation and wiring for the ignition.

It is not uncommon for other parts to wear out and need replacing, especially if you use your grill a lot. Handles, knobs, and wheels are available. New warming racks and cooking grids will replace corroded ones. If your Char Broil grill has a heat gauge, this can be replaced as well. If your grill has side burners, there are also replacement parts for this section should you need them.

Finding Char Broil grill parts to replace damaged ones is fairly easy. Char Broil offers a lot of replacements that fit multiple models. If, however, you discover they do not have the part you need because your particular model has been discontinued, there are a ton of other places that sell the parts you need.
